Quarndon Curtain Design supply nationwide but our work is undertaken primarily in Derbyshire and the Midlands.

Quarndon Curtain Design supply a comprehensive range of fabrics for your curtains including Romo, Villa Nova, Voyage Decoration, James Hare and Clarke & Clarke. We also supply roller blinds by New House Textiles and poles by companies including Bradley Collection, Swish and Integra.

Q: Do you charge for consultation and design?

We offer free advice, design and quotation services at Quarndon Curtain Design.

About Quarndon Curtain Design

At Quarndon Curtain Design we create beautifully designed, hand sewn, lined and interlined curtains, pelmets, blinds and soft furnishings for private clients, interior designers and property developers. We also offer a full range of roller, venetian and velux blinds as well as wooden shutters.

Quarndon Curtain Design can also make all the accessories required to help finish off a room, including cushions, bedspreads and valances, tablecloths, beanbags, tie backs and headboards as well as providing an upholstery service. The upholstery side of our business includes anything from recovering an existing piece of much-loved furniture to creating a new bespoke sofa, chair or footstool. We provide a complete measuring and fitting service and a free advice and quotation service. Please contact us and we would be delighted to discuss your project with you.

Curtains

All our curtains are handmade to the highest quality. Our aim is to ensure that your curtains look exactly the way you planned. As well as coming to your home to take accurate measurements we can offer advice on which style of heading will look best in your home and we can help you chose a fabric which will compliment the room or project. With over 10 years experience we can make designing your curtains and selecting fabric enjoyable and relaxing instead of daunting.

We also offer a range of curtain poles by companies including The Bradley Company, Swish, Integra, Byron & Byron, Silent Gliss, Galleria, Lawson Johnston and Alison Davies.

Blinds

Made to measure blinds are very popular, with many different styles and designs available. They work really well in both modern and traditional properties and can be mixed with curtains, sheers or just left on their own. They are generally very cost effective as they use less fabric than curtains. They can be enhanced by adding a contrast border or some beading.

Blinds can be fixed to simple batons with cording, or tracks with chains. We can add remote controls so that they can be electrically operated as well. Blinds can be fitted either inside or outside a window. They are great where light or space is an issue and can show off a special fabric to its best advantage.

Upholstery

We cover all types of upholstery, from bespoke headboards and sofas to dining chairs and outdoor furniture. We can re-cover a beloved piece of furniture that needs a new lease of life or we can design a new piece of furniture to fit your room.

Bed valances can be made to match the window treatment or headboard, and can incorporate inverted pleats, box pleats or simply plain or gathered.
